DETAILS:

Vision Series exploits this knowledge to the fullest by using two unique shell recipes of birch and basswood. Birch offers a resilient tightly bound network of cells that tend to accelerate rebounding sound waves making it perfect where mid-range to high frequencies are desired. Basswood provides a slightly softer cellulose composition which tends to slow the sound waves, thus promoting mid-range to low-frequency response. By adjusting the overall balance of one ingredient to the other allows a fine-tuning of frequency response much like Pearl’s Reference Series.

Optimized Shell Configuration

The fundamental thought behind Pearl’s Award-winning Reference Series was to optimize every component of your kit to respond to its full potential within the confines of its respective frequency range. This was achieved through the usage of premium wood composition and shell thickness via strategic variance in the type and amount of plies. This same spirit of innovation is now available to the emerging musician in the Vision Series.

The Devil Wears Prada is an American metalcore band from Dayton, Ohio, formed in 2005.

They released their third full length album, “With Roots Above and Branches Below” in 2009. The album debuted at #11 on Billboard Magazine’s Top 200 Chart.  It also hit #1 on the Indie Rock Chart, #1 on the Hard Music Chart, and #1 on the Christian Chart.  The album reached #2 on iTunes on its first day of release, only to be eclipsed by Bob Dylan.

Since the album’s release, the band were one of the main stage headliners for the 2009 VANS Warped Tour, were voted 2009 BAND OF THE YEAR by the readers of Alternative Press Magazine – the magazine of choice for fans of alternative/emo/punk/metalcore, and have been headlining sold out venues to crowds of 1,200 to 1,500.
